Operating in the Buffalo River region of northeastern Victoria, with over 40 years of experience, we offer a unique opportunity to hunt in some of the most pristine and scenic locations in Australia. Our expertise focuses on hunting Sambar deer using hounds, along with stalking in the region’s rugged terrain.

This experience is designed for novice hunters looking to gain hands-on knowledge and skills in various aspects of hunting. Listen to the hounds echoing through the valley, building anticipation as they close in, offering the thrill of pursuing one of Australia’s premier game species. For an additional adrenaline rush, imagine calling a Sambar into bow range, before releasing an arrow with precision and skill.

Our operations provide exclusive access to private properties and high game numbers, ensuring a rewarding experience. Comfortable accommodation and meals are provided at the renowned Rippers Camp, with transport included throughout the hunt.

Winner will be required to complete a Victorian Hound dog course with Steve on the 15th of May 2025 (funded by us)
