So glad I had opportunity to take part in the beginner hunting/cooking course. As a beginner that had no hunting experience, I had a lot I wanted to learn doing into the course. Over the weekend, I can say what I got far exceeded my expectations. On top of creating a fun event where I can relax and be away from the busy city life for a couple of days and meet cool ike minded people, Lawson and his fantastic team did not hold back on sharing their extensive hunting knowledge and making this whole event experience as fun, inclusive  & educational as possible.

I had an absolute top weekend at Wild Game On Open Flames pratical hunting course. Lawson, Jesse and other guides provided expert and invaluable knowledge to both new and experienced hunters alike in a friendly and fun environment with plenty of tasty meals and campfire beers with fellows hunters. the field butchery and stalking lessons that were delivered over the weekend were excellent and hands on with instructions making sure everyone had a chance to participate in the pratical activites. I've already recommended this course to several collegues and friends and would recommend Wild Game On Open Flames to anyone looking for a fund weekend away whilst picking up some new skills.

I went on a red stag hunt with Lawson last year after the rut and had a blast. I saw heaps of deer and ended up shooting a nice 8 point stag for my first red deer. The food that Lawson cooked was all delicious. I learnt a lot more from what I already knew and wouldn’t recommend anyone else for hunting free range red deer. Couldn’t thank Natures Perks enough.
